There were several issues voted for at the 2011 awards banquet.  Below is a SMALL recap:

1. The worklist will be implemented again.  Katina will be keeping track of this.  There will be a form in the announcers stand that you MUST sign in order to get counted towards your year end work requirements. HOWEVER, you can also "buy in" at $20/work at 5 jackpots, but you MUST spread them out throughout the season, not just at the beginning.
2. We voted again for taking pre entries and it was voted down.  So, there will be NO pre entries taken.
3. The arena pattern will be adjusted to the size of the arena and determined by the arena director, Deena Wheaton.
4. We voted to give a higher quality saddle ($1000-1200) to the first place division winner and a jacket.  With no other awards to the first place winner.  The other places will still get a variety of awards plus the jacket.
5. Saturday jackpots will remain the same times.  Exhibitions will begin at 10 and jackpot at noon.
6. The youth race will continue to be a straight payout race.
7. There will no longer be a Rookie award, we added "Most Improved" award instead.
8. We have a couple of new officers so check out the officer page.

The rule book is being updated as quickly as I can.  There are several rule changes so once it is online, please look it over and familiarize yourselves with it.
